Aderonke is a multi-award winning filmmaker,

writer and podcast producer.

Among several accolades, Aderonke's  first documentary film, "Awani", went on to win multiple awards, including the UNESCO Prize at the Afrika Film Festival, the Impact DOCS Award of Merit, and the 2019 Short Film Audience Award at the Africa
World Documentary Film Festival.

She was selected for Writers On The Rise (2024), an initiative in collaboration between the Black British Book Festival and leading publisher, Pan Macmillan.

Aderonke's music documentary project, "Beyond Fela", received the Sheffield Doc Prize for best project in 2023.

In 2020, she was the only African selected for the inaugural "Ben The Writer’s Room: program, specifically designed for Black writers aiming to write for television.
